Dad almost here!

Alright so its been a little bit since I have updated this, so let’s catch up shall we!

Thursday night after work, Kelly and I gave Emily her birthday presents as it was her birthday (obvisouly lol!) Not all of mine was ready yet though so I had to hold up and gave the rest to her on Saturday! A little later I went with some Canadians to see The Invention of Lying! It was pretty good, unfortunatly it was a late showing and so I fell asleep during part of it! LOL But I will have to see it agian wehn it comes out on DVD.

Friday I had the day off cause Jen, Melissa and I headed to see the Rays vs Yankees in St. Petersburg!!! I was so excited cause I always wanted to see an MLB game. And Derek Jetter and A-Rod were playing, even though I cheered for the Rays, who kicked ass! It was like 13 to 4 the final score! We got home late so I didn’t do anything afterwards.

Saturday I worekd as I trained Jillian on PM Greeter. She was a lot of fun and really cool. Afterwards Allison, Amanda and I headed for a late night walk to 7-11 than I met up with Brad, Kari and Natalie (All new people) and we hung out and talked until about 4 am!

Sunday I trained PM Greeter again, this time it was Brad who was also a lot of fun and cool. He did the program before so he knew how important it was to interact with guests! Also a fellow Canadian got termed the night before so hes now gone. After work I came home and pretty much passed out, wasn’t up for anything to exciting.

Monday was working training popcorn stocker, Kari and Natalie. Again all the new people seemed really cool and were all hard workers. Turns out popcorn shifts are ending earlier which was awesome, so we got out of there just after 10! At Games we decided to play pictionary (we have a lot of games, but to many players!) and it was so much fun and intense. I thought security was going to break us up! Hahaha my team won, Amanda and I were a big part of that. She got some tough ones, and I got the toughest one of all….As Mad As A Wet Hen!! Bahahaha that is right

Finally, yesterday was my least favorite shift, restaurant stocker! But it didn’t turn out that bad so that is good.  Came home and Allison, Amanda, Jen, both Davids and I went for another late walk to 7-11! I enjoy it because its some walking, good tempurature and just quite relaxing and nice to chill outside where none of us have to be signed into another complex!

Alrighty so work today as a seater, than tomorrow I am working as AM cash but I guess I only work until 5! So Afterwards I am heading to the Toy Story Double Feature!!

And exciting exciting times…Friday my dad and Sue come for a visit!! I cannot wait!!! I get Friday, Saturday off, work Sunday than get Monday through Friday off!! Epic!

Old Key West

Hello everyone!!

So let’s see where we ended off! Sunday thats where we were last! I trained Melissa as pm seater which was fun cause she is funny and also cause we were slow! That’s right, the restaurant was slow for dinner!

Afterwards it was movie night and I got to pick the movie…so I chose A Very Brady Sequel! Haha I am sure people were pleased with it!

Monday was an early shift, where I trained Mel and Rob on am cash! Than afterwards the three of us and Kelly, Amanda and David (new David) headed to Panera Bread and just hung out until it was time for Games night, where I didn’t do as good as I normally do at Apples to Apples!

Tuesday was an early day as Ali, Allison, David, Kelly, Lyndsay and I all stayed at Old Key West! It was a lot of fun! It was a huge two bedroom suite and pool was nearby! We ate at Olivia’s Cafe where it was 40% off! Nice! Hahaha we also swam, played Apples to Apples and watched Beauty & The Beast! Haha more like I fell asleep during it, which sucked cause I hadn’t seen that movie in a while and also I don’t like to be the person who falls asleep! Oh and it was my Dad’s birthday so Happy Birthday!!

Now today is Wednesday where I trained Mel and Rob as popcorn stocker! Good day, night not so much! Awkward and annoying!

Well peace out everyone! Got to go to bed so I can wake up early for popcorn!

Dancing in the rain!

Today was a pretty filled day! First woke up early and headed off to work where I expected an ER cause there were a lot of people working and people who started earlier than me were being trained and others were working all day so I got to go home! It was sa-weet!

So I came home and cleaned instantly!! Its been really gross and I haven’t felt in cleaning mood but I did than and also inspection on Monday!

After cleaning Kelly came over as she used my phone to call home, cause her phone is crap! It’s The Brady Bunch 40th Anniversary so there is a marathon on which Kelly and I watched until we decided we were craving dole whip! So off to Magic Kingdom for food than Speedway and Buzz lightyear and tahn we had Pineapple floats!! They are so good!

We came back and chilled at Kelly and Emily’s apartment and Kelly drew us a picture of us 3 that was very good. Than the sky opened up and it started to pour! Kelly and I decided it would be a great idea to go play in the rain so we did and got soaked! But it was a lot of fun, we sang, dance and splashed around!

Decided to cancel the trip to Cowboys tonight cause we didn’t want to be soaked and/or carry umbrellas around. Than an hour before we were scheduled to go it stopped raining and we decided on a trip still! So we went and line danced it up…which was more like could not line dance!

And now its time for work! Well in a few hours!

Variety Hour Throw-In!

So let’s see what is new! Yesterday I worked as pm greeter! Work was alright, I enjoy being a greeter, always fun! Being here has toughen me up for dealing with guests so I know how to deal with angry and don’t take it personally! Always good!

After work was our Throw-in! First time ever (for me anyways) that it was not on Wednesday night! IT was good a lot of fun, what I remembered slash watched on video! I have been recording a lot more lately, not as many pictures as before!

Our throw-ins have a lot more people giving speeches slash doing songs and acts! I wrote a top ten list for Games which was really good I felt haha! Deanna did a dance for the new merch boy so it went over well!! Enjoyed it! She is so funny!

Now today I worked as pm cash! Its busy again cause of Food and Wine so it makes our shifts go by a lot faster! Came home and we watched Halloween! So good (original not the new ones, lame)

Typhoon Lagoon!

So today I finally went to a waterpark! Typhoon Lagoon! It was fun, there was some good slides. Got everything done in two hours, which was good, don’t think I could go any longer at a water park. Definetly got my fill in! I went with Kim and Rachel and we had a great time.

Afterwards we headed to Earl of Sandwich, love that place!!! Chicken Ceasar Salad Wrap was the best, definetly will choose that more often!

We went to Vista where we rented movies. I decided to rent Muppets Movie and Kronk’s New Groove. Haven’t seen the second one so I am excited. Watched Muppet movie than been watching new shows. First up was Dancing with the Stars, enjoyed the Patrick Swayze tribute. Was very nice.

Than I watched Modern Family and Cougartown! Both were good, very funny. I think I laughed more with Cougartown!

Anyways, kind of a quiet night I guess. Staying in, tonight is extra magic hours at Epcot. So Throw-IN has been moved to tomorrow!

Finally Saw Fantasmic!

That’s right folks! After 217 days here, I have finally seen Fantasmic! Got to say, pretty disappointed. I mean it was just kind of random and could be SO much better! Maybe didn’t help I waited this long to see it with so many people talking it up!

So woke up early and Rob, Lyndsay, Kim and I headed to The Wave at the Contemporary for breakfast (40% off for cast members!) It was pretty good, but our server was crap. Took forever for her to greet our table!

Afterwards Kim and I headed to Magic Kingdom where we rode Peter Pan and TTA. Didn’t do much else there! Oh did Pooh’s Playful Spot, so only the Riverboat and Main St. Vehicles left at MK! Afterwards headed to D-HO! That’s where we rode Tower a couple of times and Aerosmith a couple of times. Got photos with a Little Einstien and some Power Rangers! Oh I also bought a Peter Pan hat today! Pretty cool! Hahaha

After Fantasmic we headed home cause Kim and I were so tired. But than after some renewed energy, Kelly, Rob, Rachel, Carolane and a new Canadian who arrived today, David, and I all headed to McDonalds which closed early. So we went to 7-11 where I got a Slurpee! And here I am now!

Going to my first waterpark tomorrow, Typhoon Lagoon! Not a big fan of them, but its free and I have to get them done with!

Fast Work Week

So Thursday I was PM Cash training and than I went to Patterson for my first real party. It was a good time than we headed to Bennigan’s! It was also my 7 month anniversary of being here so I was really celebrating. I can’t believe how fast my time is going. Everything is going by so fast, including my work week.

Today is my “Friday” (It’s Monday I know people) and it zoomed by. Let’s see on actual Friday trained AM seater than went to see Love Happens. We went really late and we were all expecting a romantic comedy… it wasn’t! Hahaha It was sad, and long and late at night haha! I fell asleep at times. Woke up whenever Jennifer Aniston was on screen.

Next day I trained PM Greeter and than went to Cowboys that night. Cowboys was fun, other than the fact a bunch of people bailed at the last minute. But yeah it was a good time. I trained PM Greeter again the next day, which was yesterday. The computer went down, I guess all over Disney. So we went manual from 7:30 on and we were about 40 minutes behind!

After work Allison and I went to McDonalds (as we deserved it) and had an epic adventure to Walgreens hahahaha!

And that brings us all up to speed. Work until 10:30 tonight, training Popcorn Stocker! Than Games night! Finally it is my weekend. Gonna have Breakfast at the Wave tomorrow!

La Nouba, not so La creepy!

So went and saw La Nouba last night, and got to say, was not that creeped out as I had feared! Not traumatized that is fo sho! So first Dan, Jeremy, Heather and I headed to Downtown Disney, where the show is. We got there early and we went to Earl of Sandwich, where none of them had been before!! So good, and they enjoyed it as well. I also bought a shirt at Raglan Road because I love it!! Its me, and other people have thought about purchasing it for me so thats funny! Tried on the kids Captain Hook costume, that fit me a lot better than the Woody costume! hahaha

So than it was time for La Nouba, where Rhonda, Jo and Candice (who was sitting near us) were also there. It was over an hour and a half and none of us talked once! It was really good. A few complaints, didn’t know what was going on, and there was a lot, got a little upset cause I felt I miss somethings at time. And there were a few creepy characters..did not enjoy them at all! Hahaha But otherwise good show and might have to see another one. Heard there is a sex one in Las Vegas..interesting!

Afterwards came home and Kelly, Allison and I hung out and were just being ridiculous! Haha I know what else is new!

Now time for work, training PM Cash, two people! One of which is named Craig so it begins haha! Working until ten, than not sure what I am doing.

Keeping busy!

Hey bloggers (hehehe)

Well I definetly have been keeping busy for sure. Yesterday was my day off and I woke up really early to head with David to Animal Kingdom!! It was a lot of fun, and now I only have one attraction left to do there, Flights of Wonder, which is not currently running. We got photos with the characters in there safari costumes, and bonded with them! It was fun, not to mention we watched Festival of the Lion King, which I love! Unfortunatly, Tumble Monkeys did not do their act that day!

Afterwards, we got a slurpee at 7-11 cause I have been craving one for a while now, than we headed to the airport to pick up Kelly! It was nice to have Kelly back and we caught her up on everything, which wasn’t to much actually, kind of a dead weekend for drama in the Commons haha!

Than I made the mistake of having a nap, cause I was up until 5 in the morning not able to sleep. A walk helped and some milk did!

Woke up early again, for no reason this time. Me and the Pitman brothers headed over to D-Ho, where we walked on Great Movie Ride and Rock’n’Roller Coaster twice. And only 20 minute wait for Toy Story. Afterwards we had lunch at Uno Pizzeria and went mini-golfing at Pirate’s Cove, which was really lame!!

Now chilling at home until Cirque De Solei: La Nouba tonight! Free ticket, otherwise don’t know if I would go. Creeps me out!

Not a whole lot of work going on…just random thoughts!!

Well my last blog ended with me telling you I was popcorn stocker training so no work for me really hahaha! Ironically a little bit after that, my manager Christina called me and said she was not opening the cart today cause of weather and lack of guests (but ssshhh, we won’t reveal that part). So I managed to get three days off in a row!

So Saturday ending up having day off was not sure what to do. I went to D-HO with James and his friend and ditched them to go do the Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream, cause I haven’t done that yet. Almost all done the attractions at all the parks. Food is not my priority, its doing every attraction/show! So now I have to just do Fantasmic (I know I can’t believe I haven’t seen it yet) and Sounds Dangerous which is never open!!

Than came home than headed to Epcot with Mel to cross a more things off my list. We did Reflections of China and Turtle Talk with Crush! Now must do Living with the Land and Character Greetings and thats it for there! And cause I wasn’t tired of the damn buses Kim and I went to Crossroads to eat at Sweet Tomatos!! Oh sooooo good! Love it there!

Sunday I worked as PM cash! It was dead so that is the worst shift to have when it is dead! Thats all that happened that was semi-interesting to blog (hehehhehe) about!

Today! Here we are. Let’s see. Am seater, so was out by 6! Came home but has been taking it easy. Doing laundry at moment, hahaha! Watching America’s Got Talent (Which I have voted for just cause I can! hahaha). Grandma Lee has to win because she is just so sweet and looks so nervous when they are revealing votes. Kevin Skinner, not great singer, just sayin’!

Got sad cause I saw the ending of Homeward Bound! Miss my dog Summer!!

Wearing my Calgary Flames shirt jersey cause I felt like representing, and also to prove to Games that I do not approve of Oilers in my apartment and they will never be welcomed! hahaha Playing Things in a Box tonight! Woot!

Patrick Swayze has died! That is really sad! Ghost, Dirty Dancing…all good movies. He was a good actor and a nice person! We lost another great one!

Anyways folks, I get the next two days off!! Planning on maybe doing something exciting. Maybe crossing some more things off my to do list.
